i was listening to mickey factz's dark phoenix mix tape the other night while i was working on a painting for a friend. i kinda got lost in it for a while. i mean it's mickey rapping over phoenix's last album. so of course i was mesmerized. i esp love 'ashes'; mickey rapping over the last half of 'rome'.
i loved the song so much that i just had it on repeat for like an hour while i painted. it's not great, but it's a start. i just needed a spark to get me going.
