Holy Fuck 5

Holy Fuck @ The Independent

The first time I saw Holy Fuck, I only knew one of their songs. Now I have all their albums but I still don’t really know their songs. They’re a beaty-indie-noise-rock-electro-punk-experimental-instrumental-just-plain-mental band, so their music just kinda all blends together for me. I know the ‘Holy Fuck sound’ more than I know their songs. I listen to their albums while I work, when I ride my bike, when I do dishes, etc. Basically whenever I want some energetic keep me movin music. I love getting lost in their music and just riding the beats and melodies.

And that was just what I needed last night. After a super long crappy emotional day, I just wanted to wash it all away and get lost in some music. And they did not disappoint. From the moment they took the stage it was just an onslaught of beats, warm fuzzy noises and more beats. Oh and of course, lots of energy. Everyone was dancing & having a blast. I couldn’t have asked for a better end to a crap day.

Here’s some of the less magical moments from the show. Sorry, but I was too busy dancing to the rest of the amazing set. Enjoy!
