i've been waiting for this show forever but i had to wait thru delorean first before seeing miike.

which wasn't a big deal cause delorean was pretty fun. i had heard their albums just recently & their singer/bassist came out with a newOrder shirt on, so i knew it'd be some dancey goodness. and was it ever. the drummer was phenomenal. he carried the whole band. crazy fuckin beats with a drum kit and a drum pad. and their keyboardist was in his own lil world. just dancing & jumping around the whole time in the corner. over all they were pretty good, but just too noisey and too many layers of music piled on top of each other. fun but a lil too much.

miike snow on the other hand also has tons of layers to their music but it sounded so clean and they were sooo tight. i was super impressed. they jammed out most of their songs (sometimes getting a lil too trancey) and then just bring it all back together out of nowhere. and other songs were super short. but still soo good, they left me wanting more.

i LOVED that they were pretty much non stop. as soon as one song ended, they went right into the next. and some of the transitions man... they were incredible. the whole place was like 'woah.' also loved the non-encore encore. they played 'animal' and left the stage for about 20 seconds. came back and played 20 mins more. then were done.

what i HATED were all the douches there. why go to a show and fucking talk through the whole thing? why not just stay home and listen to the record ya drunk talky fucks. and a slow song is not an excuse to talk more. if anything it means shut the fuck up. have some respect for the band, music and people who actually came to the show to enjoy the music.
