it was a long drive. it was hot. real hot actually. our plan was to camp near the lake to stay cool but when we got there realized we couldnt go in the water cause it was disgusting. just the nastiest dirtiest water. we were kinda miserable.
but then the sun started setting, and everything cooled down. we went down to the water to watch the sunset. crow put some music on.
the horns & violins at the beginning of 'the shining' were a perfect compliment to the setting sun. and just as the sun disappeared behind the mountains, the strings died out and badly drawn boy began singing.
it was magical.
and at that moment everything was perfect and my love affair with coachella began.
